Skin Cancer Detection
The patient’s skin is examined with a magnifying lamp first, and then dermoscopy is performed using a hand-held dermatoscope and also a computerised dermatoscope, if needed. Any spots of interest are recorded, analysed or excised.
Our facilities and doctors are experts in all techniques of skin biopsies and skin cancer removal, including standard surgical excision, skin grafts and skin flaps. We also offer scar revision and reconstructive surgery where appropriate.

Eczema is a common chronic itchy skin complaint. Although most common in childhood, adults can also be affected. The condition is most common in people with a personal or family history of other ‘atopic’ conditions including asthma and hay fever.
Allergic contact dermatitis is a common skin condition that results in an itchy and weeping rash, typically a few days after direct skin contact. Common causes include nickel, chemicals, plants, cosmetics, perfumes and ointments. It usually develops two or more days after contact with the allergen. It lasts as long as contact continues and for a short time (typically 1 to 2 weeks) afterwards.
